being a responsible adult sucks.

oh man, you guys...you don't even know...i have SO many projects floating around in my mind right now....but you know what sucks? i can't work on any of them until i clean the entire damn house. because i know if i don't get it done today, it won't get done at all.
GAH!

it's my own fault really. i'm a freaking slob, and was in a bit of a slump last week, so i didn't do much of anything in the way of cleaning. raisin loves it. fabric bits for her to play with and whatnot, but i miss my sink. sigh.

first thing i'm doing when i find my sewing machine again? finishing the damn bag i've been working on for my friend pamela for MONTHS...but after that?

i've been wanting to make raisin one of these computer monitor cat beds for ages...

i've been having the darndest time finding a monitor before someone else beats me to it though...perhaps the fact that i refuse to pay good money for a 15 year old piece of technology i plan on gutting has something to do with it...hmm...anywho...

I spent yesterday organizing and rearranging the back bedroom. it is now raisin's room.
i'm tired of having her litterbox and whatnot in our room...guess who is a middle-of-the-night pooper? That's right. This kitty.


i have this desk back there so i decided that the world's cutest thing would be to put a monitor cat bed on it, with a keyboard food dish tray, a little toy computer mouse, and a scratching post "mousepad."
i am such a nerd.
i made the keyboard tray yesterday though :)


i'll post the progress pics, and more once i finish cleaning...gonna stop procrastinating now...yeah right!
